Blast through Gunma’s Mountains in Keisuke’s Mazda RX-7

After Takumi's Toyota AE86 Trueno, the Mazda RX-7 FD3S is arguably the second most iconic vehicle to be featured heavily in Initial D. Keisuke Takahashi's fiery yellow mid-engine street racer was the first challenge Takumi Fujiwara faced. Despite being defeated, the Mazda RX-7 is regarded as one of the best cars for racing across Japan's mountain passes. Particularly on the straightaways, most people consider it to be technically better than the AE86. Keisuke eventually joins Takumi as one of Project D's "double aces."

When the manga began, the Mazda RX-7 had 340 horsepower and was propelled by a double-rotor rotary engine with twin turbos. Later, its new aero package, muffler, racing hood, and spoilers would boost its horsepower to 450 and improve its maneuverability.

The CaDa Bricks Mazda RX-7 Model

Teaming up with both the designers of Initial D and Mazda, CaDa Bricks now presents an officially licensed detailed 1:12 replica of the Mazda RX-7 FD3S. The kit, which comes with nearly 1700 pieces, enables the construction of two different vehicle versions. Just as the manga portrays the car getting updated throughout the novel, you can replicate your preferred version of your vehicle: pre-upgrade or post-upgrade. Thanks to the double licensing, the models produced by CaDa Bricks resemble genuine things, right up to the tiny details.

Balancing aesthetics with the technical, the builder gets to build the models from a brick creator angle for the exterior, with detailed and correctly colored panels for a smooth finish. The interior consists of sophisticated technic style design for real-life functions and systems.

The model even enables the attachment of a battery box and RC module (available separately) for full racing action. For individuals who genuinely enjoy speed, this is a fantastic choice!
